Sibley County, Minnesota

Rural Minnesota is still to be found is Sibley County. With just over 15,000 people in the county the small towns still have country charm. 

Cities in Sibley County are: Gaylord, Arlington, Gibbon, Green Isle, Henderson, Le Sueur, New Auburn, and Winthrop. Gaylord is the largest and is the county seat.

The largest employer in the county is M.G. Waldbaum, a division of Michaels Foods. The Gaylord plant processes egg and milk products.

Other larger employers in the county are the school districts and health care. The towns support smaller manufactures and businesses ranging from 90 employees down to companies with less than 10 employees.  

Sibley County is a great area for hunting and fishing. The county is home to four wildlife management areas and 21 lakes.
